Celebrating 5 Years of OpenSource DB
What started as a vision has now become a journey of trust, community, learning, and growth.
Today, as OpenSource DB completes 5 incredible years, we pause with gratitude in our hearts.
To every client who trusted us, every customer who believed in our work, every community member who supported us, and the entire OSDB team who worked passionately behind the scenes throughout this journey, thank you for being part of our story.
These 5 years were not just about databases, technology, or events. They were about relationships, collaboration, shared successes, and building something meaningful together.
Every milestone we achieved carries your contribution within it.
Hereโs to the people who made OSDB what it is today and to many more years of growing, learning, and building together.
AI Fusion 2026 Brings AI Conversations to Vijayawada
The first-ever AI Summit in Andhra Pradeshโs capital region, AI Fusion 2026, brought together AI enthusiasts, startups, CXOs, researchers, students, and government leaders at A-Convention Centre, Vijayawada.
Centered around the theme โAI-First World: Agents, Models & Machines,โ the event sparked discussions on Agentic AI, AI ecosystems, Physical AI, and infrastructure. One key takeaway stood out strongly throughout the summit โ while AI technologies continue to evolve rapidly, people and real business problems remain at the center of meaningful innovation.
The conversations that resonated most focused on practical impact: helping manufacturers reduce waste, enabling startups to reach more customers, and improving access to government services through AI-driven solutions.
Harikiran, Amar, and Venkata Krishna attended the summit on behalf of OpenSource DB.
The event, organized by DeepTech Naipunya Foundation (DTNF) and APDTI Network with STPI as co-host, marks an important step toward building a stronger AI and deep-tech ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh.

Optern x OpenSource DB: Building Trust Through Skills
At OpenSource DB, we believe real skills speak louder than resumes and thatโs exactly what Optern is enabling.
Optern connects organizations with students and professionals by focusing on verified performance through real-world projects, helping individuals prove their capabilities while giving organizations the confidence to hire the right talent.
As part of this initiative, Hari Kiran and Keerthi engaged with and supported students through the cohort, guiding them in demonstrating their technical and problem-solving skills.
Weโre proud to be the sponsor of this impactful program and to support a model that truly bridges the gap between talent and opportunity.
April Data Drops is not a content series.
It is 23 production lessons, captured on video.
Built by engineers who have seen things break and fixed them.
What started as an initiative by Hari and the OpenSource DB team became 23 days of consistent execution. The entire team stepped in across presenting, scripting, and reviewing to bring every idea to life.
Every video is a real problem, a real fix, and a lesson learned in production.
All 23 PostgreSQL videos are now live and brought together in one place on our website, making it easy to explore, navigate, and start with what matters to you.
If you work with PostgreSQL, this is built for you.
