Not from changing the model itself.
Why “Yet” Matters
This doesn’t mean SMBs will never train models.
But timing matters.
Training starts to make sense only when:
- You have large, high-quality proprietary data
- Your use case is stable and well-defined
- You’ve already validated value using APIs or RAG
- You need optimization at scale
Until then:
Training is optimization—not the starting point.
